Given the state of computers and software at the time, I kind of imagine that people back then were probably legit mind blown at all of this. People 40 years from now are probably going to be laughing their asses off at us too, and so the cycle will continue.

That means the majority of today's internet users had never been in an university class. This is not "the most boring", this is education for adults.

This is not boring to me. In fact, I usually search YT for educational videos like this one. I don't really like those empty tiktok videos full of bullshit and nonsense content. I was born in 1981 and learned to use a computer in the 1990's, I used to watch tutorials like this one and read MS-DOS manuals the size of a Encyclopedia. This video is actually very well presented and easy to understand and to follow. I think younger people born in the 2000's don't realize that before graphic based systems like Windows or Macintosh, there were only command line systems, and text editors were like WordStar, a true nightmare to learn and use, you had no mouse, and every command was done with a combination of keystrokes that you had to memorize in advance.

I love the way he adds a touch of charisma and expression to the presentation by slightly moving his eyebrows once a minute

Guys, really, sometimes you're incredible. He's explaining how a word processor works, you cannot expecxt special effects, action scenes or whatever you have in mind, this is a tutorial video, it's not expected to be exciting but informative, I really don't understands all these negative comments to be honest. He's explained very well too.

I started watching with 93% battery and charging. Within two minutes it was down to 5%.

How is this boring? He is explaining. Newer generations are odd.
